Tampa Bay: The recent Enron fall has been followed by some other stock inproprieties. Fortunately, most of my holdings are in mutual funds, 403B, IRA's,& Roth IRA's. However, I would like to invest in the market in order to maintain some balance. How can the novice determine if there aren't more Enron's out there?

Matt Krantz: Perhaps the best way to find clues is by comparing a company's cash flow from operations to its net income. Cash flow should be larger and increasing. A good site to help you with this is stockdiagnostics.com.
